Early April is a great time to be outdoors and enjoy some fresh air, and the Springtime weather is right in that sweet spot between the cold and damp of January, and the blazing heat of July. The River City Gems are putting on a Picnic at Folsom Lake, so bring your appetite, a portable camp chair, and enjoy a day at the lake with us!

We will be set up at several tables in a picnic area. We recommend bringing your own portable folding chairs, which are generally way more comfortable than the wood benches of a picnic table.  We will provide BBQ burgers and dogs, fruit, chips, soft drinks and water and dessert. No alcohol or glass beverage containers are allowed.

There will be an optional sail on the lake in the late afternoon!

Please note, there is a park entrance fee of $12 per vehicle.
