Transgender Law Center works to change law, policy, and attitudes so that all people can live safely, authentically, and free from discrimination regardless of their gender identity or expression.

Diablo Valley Girls is a non-profit, non-sexual social support group for M to F transgender individuals, their families and friends. They were formed in May 1991 by two local members of ETVC, since renamed TransGender San Francisco (TGSF). Although mainly serving the needs of those in the East Bay area of Northern California, they have members in seven states. DVG is an open group and welcomes all mature and responsible persons.

Meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at a dance club in Walnut Creek.

“Standing on the Side of Love.” UUCC celebrates diversity and welcomes Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender individuals. UU ministers have been performing religious ceremonies of union for same-sex couples since the 1970s and many of their members and clergy are LGBT.
